Aaeon's AEC-6905 fanless embedded controller provides one PCI slot and two PC/104+ slots for easy expansion.

Aaeon has released the AEC-6905 a fanless minicomputer for use in vehicles This compact and fanless embedded controller provides one PCI slot and two PC/104+ slots for easy expansion

It suits vehicle, NC machinery, cutting machinery and injection machinery applications.

Customers can use different types of boards in one system without any modification.

The AEC-6905 is based on the Intel Celeron M processor, up to 1.5GHz.

The system memory features DDR SODIMM up to 1Gbyte.

It includes one 2.5in SATA/ IDE Hard Disk Drive and one CompactFlash Slot for storage.

It accommodates four COM ports and four USB 2.0 ports.

The AEC-6905 also has a LAN port for network connection.

The AEC-6905 offers mic-in/ line-in/ line-out functions, although this requires an extension cable.

The AEC-6905 uses the Boxer 2 design concept, with a rugged aluminium exterior.
