Investment paves way for French
expansion
AB Automotive France has received a significant cash injection from TT Electronics, the global electronics manufacturing company which acquired AB Automotive France in March 2003.

Since its takeover in March 2003, AB Automotive France, together with its low cost manufacturing subsidiary based in Brazil, has been commissioned to carry out projects for major Tier 1 customers totalling over Eur 38 million over the life of the new vehicle programmes.
New and upgraded equipment has been a key factor in the investment programme, with a new Genrad Stinger circuit tester already installed.
The company's engineering design facilities have also been enhanced, with further investment in Catia CAD graphics engineering software packages.
Specialist personnel have been appointed reflecting the increased workload.
The engineering team has been expanded in addition to an IT manager and finance controller.
The finance controller has introduced standardised costing at the operations level bringing greater financial management of the company.
The IT manager will be overseeing the new Produflex Windows systems which has been selected for its functionality and efficiency for manufacturing systems.
Bernard Tsachiris, Managing Director of AB Automotive France, says: "AB Automotive France has great potential to increase its revenue and the changes TT electronics has implemented has given the company a tremendous platform for growth.
