M-Systems leads the market in flash-based data storage products - and this new relationship compliments our existing activities and product range for the rapidly expanding embedded market", said Martin Brooks, Abacus Polar Marketing Director.

"We see Abacus Polar as having a particular strength in the embedded computing sector, with a track record of success in working with Microsoft embedded operating systems and complimentary hardware vendors.

M-Systems, with its cutting edge Flash-based data storage products, can allow applications based on these technologies to run faster and operate more reliably, even in harsh environments", added Dieter Graf, Distribution Director, M-Systems.

M-Systems families of Flash-based data storage products now available from Abacus Polar include both removable and non-removable storage media in a wide range of capacities, interfaces, form factors and technologies.

Abacus Polar will be promoting M-Systems DiskOnChip bootable, single-die Flash disks, alongside the Fast Flash Disks (FFD) high-performance mass storage solutions that offer a drop-in replacement for standard IDE, SCSI and Ultra Wide SCSI hard drives.

Also available will be M-Systems PC Card based storage solutions, and DiskOnKey, a pocket-size, lightweight, plug-n-play removable storage format with a USB interface.
