Murdock and Kernohan take senior roles
Abacus Polar has made two new senior appointments to its sales team.

Both new recruits bring with them a very strong background in the electronics components industry.
Murdock will head up the Abacus Solent office Eastleigh, and brings to the position a five year track record in electronic component distribution.
He started as an Internal Sales Engineer and moved up to Business Development Manager looking after blue chip electronics accounts.
Kernohan is taking charge of the Abacus AIM component resale division, leading a team of four sales executives.
Kernohan spent seven years in sales and customer care positions, including three years specifically in electronic component distribution.
She was headhunted to join the sales team of Partminer, when it opened in the UK.
Commenting on the appointments, Amanda Parker, Sales Director of Abacus Polar, said: "Quality people are the key to our strategy of developing and building strong relationships with our customers nationwide.
These two senior appointments contribute outstanding experience to two of our key operations, and are an example of the way in which Abacus has continued to invest in its staff during the difficult market conditions that we have experienced".
