Workshop gives complete picture on
CE.NET 5.0

A UK-based workshop will give embedded software development engineers hands-on experience in running the new 5.0 release of Windows CE.NET on next generation processors.

Abacus Group is partnering with some of the top names in embedded engineering to provide a workshop that gives embedded software development engineers hands-on experience in running the new 5.0 release of Windows CE.NET on next generation processors This workshop will be run in conjunction with Microsoft, Renesas, Emtrion, MPC Data, Radix and Trident Displays

The day will cover technical advancements in CE.NET, SuperH and other processors.

Information will also be provided on board support packages, software drivers and real-time applications.

"We aim to give developers the complete picture: everything that they need to know before starting their next project with Windows CE.NET", said Craig Langley, Microsoft Business Development Manager, Abacus Polar.

The day will include presentations from: Microsoft and Abacus on use of Microsoft Windows CE.NET version 5.0; Renesas on next generation SuperH processors in real time applications; Emtrion on system integration services when developing with CE.NET and Renesas SuperH processors; MPC Data on the support model of system integration services; Radix on strategy, design and implementation decision for handheld PC; and Trident Displays on its latest LCD technologies and value add capabilities.

There will also be hands-on labs that will give attendees an opportunity to use the Windows CE.NET with processor embedded development tools.

The event will take place on 27th May 2004 at the Microsoft Campus, Reading, UK.
