Corbett moves in as Fitzpatrick steps up

Abacus Group is expanding its portfolio of I/O connectors with the introduction of a Shielded Compact Ribbon (SCR) interconnect system.
Martin Brooks, General Manager, Abacus Polar, congratulated Fitzpatrick and Corbett, saying: "With his strong sales experience, and established relationships with key Abacus Polar franchises and customers, Mike Fitzpatrick has the perfect credentials for his new position of Regional Sales Manager".
"We are replacing him with Felix Corbett, who brings us the benefit of 11 years in the industry, with experience of sales and marketing in distributor based and principal based contexts, for passive and electromechanical devices".
Corbett joins Abacus Polar from Panasonic, where he spent five years as Northern European Distribution Manager for Passive Components.
Previously, he spent three years as a Product Marketing Manager at Arrow, and three years as Sales Manager at Perancea UK, selling electromechanical components into industrial customers.
Mike Fitzpatrick joined Abacus Polar as Marketing Manager, Passives in 1998.
Previously, he was Key Account Manager at Murata and Commercial Manager at Rubycon.
