Sales team races for cancer research

Three members of the Abacus Group sales team have raised in excess of GBP 500 for cancer research at the recent Race for Life.

Three members of the Abacus Group sales team have raised in excess of GBP 500 for cancer research at the recent Race for Life.

The event, which took place at Leverhulme Park in Bolton on 24th July 2005 was supported by more than 3000 runners.

Judith Brooks, Catherine Bradley and Elaine Lawrence, based at the Abacus sales office in Bolton, completed the 5km course in 39 minutes.

"It was an amazing experience, to see so many women taking part in an event to raise money for a cause that has touched nearly all our lives, it was tremendous fun and we were just ecstatic to finish the course without having to stop", commented Brooks.
