This workshop will be run in conjunction with MPC Data, DSP Design, Intrinsyc, Plexus and Kuka Controls.
In addition to reviewing how to make use of the new features in Microsoft embedded operating systems, the day will look at how to select the most appropriate hardware platform, and how to optimise software to minimise overall system cost.
Information will also be provided on board support packages, software drivers and real-time applications.
There will also be hands-on labs that will give delegates an opportunity to use the Windows CE.NET and XP Embedded with processor embedded development tools and discuss current projects with Microsoft and Abacus specialists.
The event will take place on Wednesday 5th October 2005 at the Microsoft offices in Dublin.
