Innovative design minimises the risk of false trips due to high inrush currents and line transients.
Rated to switch loads of up to 10A at 250V AC, the US-602 can be set to operate at between 10 and 160C, to a tolerance of 4C.
Cable mounted thermostats are also on offer, such as the US-631, a slim device able to switch up to 4A at 250V AC at a preset temperature in the range 0 to 120C.
Abacus will also stock PCB mount thermostats for electronics applications, including the US-802, which can switch 1A at up to 48V DC, 125V AC at a preset temperature between 40 and 120C.
Abacus will be supporting the full range of Asahi Keiki thermostats, which includes devices able to switch electrical loads of up to 15A at 250V AC, and devices that offer operating temperatures from 0 to 250C.
Most Asahi Keiki thermostats are specified for a life of 100,000 switching operations and have an insulation resistance of 100Mohm or more.
The range includes both line-mount, chassis mount and PCB mount components.
Abacus Group field application engineers are available to review specific customer requirements and provide advice on suitable solutions for individual applications.
Asahi Keiki thermostats offered by Abacus are highly suitable for safe and reliable disconnection of appliances on reaching a specified temperature in industrial and process control instruments, household appliances and office equipment.
Reliable operation of such switches is normally a safety feature, and the Asahi Keiki design, manufacturing and sales operations are ISO9001 certified.
According to Abacus, the Asahi Keiki thermostat range benefits from high quality Japanese design and management, associated with economical manufacturing in China.
