UPS is safe for medical applications

An Accratech product story

The Linear/1 UPS is claimed to be the safest device of its kind for supporting "near-patient" medical equipment such as ultrasound, lithotripters, fluoroscopes, lasers and many more.

New from Accratech, the Linear/1 UPS is claimed to be the safest device of its kind for supporting "near-patient" medical equipment such as ultrasound, lithotripters, fluoroscopes, lasers and many more.

The industry standard for leakage current requires 500uA; the Linear/1 typically produces less than 100uA.

The Linear/1 UPS has very low radio emissions (Class B) and produces very low harmonic currents and well regulated output voltage control.

Immunity to various unwanted harmful conditions such as electrostatic discharges, voltage surges, radio frequency emissions from other electronic equipment (or radiated fields), fast transients and immunity to low frequency disturbances makes the Linear/1 UPS extremely well suited for the support of imaging medical and sensitive laboratory equipment.

Because of the nature of the Linear/1 product it has proved itself when supporting laboratory equipment such as blood analysers and mass spectrometers.

Additional run time capabilities are standard options for the Linear/1 UPS, which is essential when running lab tests that require extended time and where a power loss will cost money.

The Linear/1 has a unity power factor which means there is no need to over sise the unit to meet your needs.

If you purchase a U91-5K you are purchasing a UPS that will provide 5000W of power - not a unit with a 0.7 power factor that will only deliver 3500W.

The Linear/1 models available are the U91-1.0K (1000W), U91-1.5K (1500W), U91-3K (3000W), U91-4K (4000W), U91-5K (5000W) and the U91-8K (8000W).

The U91-1.0K and U91-1.5K are both 120V input and 120V output 50/60Hz autosensing.

The U91-3K to U91-8K have 230V 50/60Hz autosensing inputs which makes the Linear/1 adaptable for worldwide use.

The output is user directed from 100 to 240V 50/60Hz.
