Accellera is inviting the the electronic design community to nominate an individual for its 4th annual Technical Excellence Award.
Nominations for the 4th annual Accellera Technical Excellence Award are due by Friday April 6, 2007 Accellera's Technical Excellence Award recognises an outstanding individual who has helped create electronic design standards that benefit the EDA industry

The Award will be presented during Accellera's open meeting at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) in San Diego in June 2007.
Accellera's Technical Excellence Award recognises the outstanding achievements of its Technical Committee members.
Accellera will select a single contributor to the Accellera standards development process as its 2007 award recipient.
All Accellera Technical Subcommittee members are eligible for the award.
Accellera's Technical Subcommittees include: Standard Co-Emulation Applications Programming Interface (SCE-API), Open Compression Interface (OCI), Open Verification Library (OVL), Unified Coverage Interoperability (UCI), Unified Power Format (UPF) and Verilog Analogue Mixed-Signal (AMS).
Accellera's Technical Subcommittees produce effective and efficient standards for today's advanced semiconductor designs.
Participation comes from Accellera member companies, industry contributors and independents.
Technical contributors typically have many years of practical experience developing and using design automation tools.
