Technology-neutral approach to user-input systems
Advanced Input Devices has launched its specialist outsourcing services in Europe, with the establishment of a UK office and project management team.
"The quality and depth of our technical and manufacturing expertise has been critical to our success in the demanding German market", comments Phil Bradshaw, European Sales and Marketing Manager, "Werner has the man-machine interface experience to bring that real contribution to a much wider range of customers in the region".
Advanced Input Systems enables OEMs to outsource complex user input subsystems, allowing system designers to focus on core competence issues, while ensuring access to the latest technologies whether keyboard, touch-screen, trackerball or more advanced proprietary technologies, backed up by offshore manufacturing when required.
As well as offering local support for responsive custom design activity, the new office will also provide access to Advanced Input's latest "Advanced ThruPut" IP-based programme for accelerated prototyping of custom interface electronics, saving valuable development time for critical markets such as telecom and medical applications.
