Wireless deal expands from Scandinavia
to the UK

Tech Source puts Acal in charge
Acal Electronics' Networks Division has been appointed as the master distributor for the Tech Source family of high-resolution graphics accelerators across the EMEA region.
Acal will now provide leading-edge wireless communications modules for applications ranging from remote monitoring and signage to fleet management and telematics applications.
This agreement extends the existing distribution area between Acal and Wavecom, which already covers Scandinavia, and now includes the UK and Ireland.
Machine-to-machine communications is a rapidly growing sector of the electronics industry.
It allows systems to automatically exchange data (via wireless networks) then, interpret and react to status information, messages and alarms without the need for human intervention.
"The extension of Acal's agreement with Wavecom to the UK offers us a great opportunity", said Steve Carr, Sales and Marketing Director at Acal Technology.
"Machine-to-machine communications is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the industry, and Wavecom's products are recognised for their high quality and technology leadership".
