The PMC451 is a PMC FPGA-based 16-channel RS232/RS422/RS485 programmable serial interface with front and rear I/O The card features high density and flexibility, with 16 channels of RS232 or 16 channels of RS422/485 or a combination of the two using its software configurable physical interface with onboard termination

Large FIFOs and a global interrupt register optimize accesses to the card in time-critical applications.

Custom protocols and configuration in the FPGA are available on request.

Usage in ruggedised systems with conductive cooling is also possible.
