FPGA family promises more for less
Low-power field-programmable gate arrays claim the industry's best power-, area-, logic- and feature-per-I/O ratios in a programmable device.
This e-magazine will also include links to whitepapers, application notes and Actel's various design resource centres featuring useful information on design security, live at power-up, packaging and soft/firm errors.
In addition, eZone offers access to Actel's Product Update System, which allows subscribers to receive customised product information updates via the web and e-mail.
The inaugural issue of eZone features in-depth information on Actel's new low-cost ProASIC3 family of FPGAs, as well as Actel's partnership with ARM and involvement with the Airbus A380 commercial airliner.
The recently announced Actel Fusion technology, designed to enable the industry's first programmable system chip by integrating mixed-signal analogue capabilities with Flash memory and FPGA fabrics, will be featured in upcoming issues of the virtual magazine.
"Actel is committed to providing designers with reliable, high-performance, cost-effective programmable system chip solutions", said Clive Jones, Director of Global Market Communication at Actel.
"As the leader in single-chip FPGA technology, we recognise the importance of awareness and education, especially when emerging technologies, such as Actel's Fusion technology, are involved".
"The eZone magazine and newsletter accesses an interactive online portal and information resource where customers can receive product updates as well as snapshots of the company's technology and business activities".
