Following on the success of its events in the USA and Europe, Actel Corp will host the first annual Actel Space Forum (ASF) India on 10th April 2007 in Bangalore The invitation-only one-day event will provide designers of space systems in India with a user-group environment to discuss testing and qualification, software trends, design optimisation techniques, advanced packaging technology and intellectual property cores for space applications

Additionally, delegates will obtain an update on the quality and reliability of Actel's FPGAs which offer many advantages for designers of space-flight systems, as well as a look forward to the company's future products for space.

Kicking off ASF India is a keynote address from CEO John East on the company's role in digital systems for space flight.

Demonstrating Actel's commitment to the Indian space industry, the forum will also consist of in-depth technical presentations from Actel engineers and strategic partners, including Synplicity, Aldec, and, for the first time, International Rectifier.

The event will conclude with a roundtable discussion on important issues affecting the Indian space community.
