Custom power systems designed online
Engineers can design their own custom power systems online with the new System Builder on the Acopian website.
All models have power factor correction and output inhibit capability - applying between +3 and +25V DC to the inhibit terminal will disable the output.
The supplies are rated for operation over a temperature range of 0 to +71C.
Other features include remote sensing capability (compensates up to 0.5V drop per output), and overload, overvoltage, short-circuit and thermal protection.
Measuring as small as 43 x 89 x 198mm (largest is 43 x 89 x 249mm), these 100kHz switchers, which include an input filter, have line and load regulation of +/-0.05%.
Output voltage may also be controlled with an external potentiometer.
The output is floating and may be used in either polarity.
