For the 13th consecutive year, Advantest has featured in the "Top 10 best test and material handling equipment companies" in VLSI Research's annual customer satisfaction survey Based on a global survey of companies in the semiconductor industry, the awards in the test and material handling equipment category included ratings on such capabilities as technical leadership, equipment performance and uptime, overall customer commitment, and process support

"Advantest has achieved quite a distinction making the 10 best list for 13 years in a row", comments G Dan Hutcheson, president of VLSI Research.

"This test of time means that Advantest delivers its best consistently, year after year, while performing to the standards of a global customer base".

VLSI Research has performed annual surveys of customer satisfaction among chip making equipment suppliers since the 1980s.

In announcing its survey results this year, VLSI Research noted that Advantest helps to "set the standard" in its category by placing in the 10 best every year since the 10 best started.

"Advantest's consistent track record in meeting its customers' needs over such a long time period demonstrates quite clearly how much we take on their business challenges as our own", states Nick Konidaris, president and CEO of Advantest America.

"Beyond that, Advantest's sustained focus on semiconductor manufacturers' needs highlights our innovativeness and flexibility, as the industry has changed not once, but several times, during the last 13 years", Konidaris adds.

"On behalf of our US employees and Advantest employees around the world, we thank our customers and users for acknowledging our efforts to bring them the best ATE possible", he says.
