Austriamicrosystems has ordered multiple M4541A pick and place handler units from Advantest (Europe) The M4541A handler provides customers with a highly accurate, low-cost quad testing solution for testing all kind of package types
It employs a unique device-handling mechanism that optimises the motion efficiency of the handler's pickup arm, helping to cut test costs by enabling shorter index times and maximising throughput to 6000 devices per hour.
The M4541A also features a small footprint, increased energy efficiency and a heating plate to enable the testing of chip performance under high temperatures.
