The VisSim/TI C2000 software is based on the award winning VisSim software from Visual Solutions and supports the TI F243 and LF2407 evaluation modules (EVMs) and the LF2407 eZdsp DSK.
The VisSim/TI C2000 Rapid Prototyper includes VisSim PE, a block-diagram-based modelling, simulation and code generation environment and VisSim/Fixed Point, fixed-point blocks and design tools for simulation and code generation of scaled integer operations.
Paul Bragg, Managing Director of Adept Scientific says this about the VisSim/TI C2000 Rapid Prototyper: "The VisSim/TI C2000 Rapid Prototyper is very well integrated with Texas Instruments' C2000 DSP EVMs and includes Texas Instruments' digital motor control (DMC) block set for simulation and automatic programming of TI DMC assembly routines along with a Code Composer Studio plug-in.
The combination of the VisSim/TI C2000 Rapid Prototyper software and TI's C2000 DSPs provides designers with an excellent embedded DSP control platform".
The TI LF2407 eZdsp DSK evaluation board is the perfect complement to the VisSim/TI C2000 Rapid Prototyper.
It incorporates 16 analogue inputs, 16 PWM outputs (two complete six-channel space vector drivers), two quadrature encoder inputs, 64Kbyte of Flash RAM, 2MHz CAN bus, four 16bit timers, 41 digital I/Os, six event capture inputs (up to 8MHz) all on a single chip.
