Adapter takes a new angle on RJ45s
A new angled adapter places an RJ45 jack at an angle to the horizontal - so that even with thicker Cat6 cables the clearance height needed within a floor box is reduced to that needed for a 13A plug.
Consolidation box brings order to network cabling
The TrueNet Mini Pod distribution and consolidation box is for Category 5e and Category 6 RJ45 structured cabling systems in enterprises, call centres, banking and retail environments.
TrueNet is an integrated portfolio of high-performance copper and fibre cable, connectivity, and cable management products that exceed ISO and EN standards and provide a clear path for uninterrupted data throughput within the entire network.
The TrueNet structured cabling solution delivers proven cable, connectivity, and cable management solutions for fibre, 10 Gigabit Ethernet copper, and Category 5e/6 from the communications room/Data Centre to the desktop.
ADC Krone's structured cabling solution for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, CopperTen, will represent one of the featured products shown at IT and T, as well as TrueNet PLM (Physical Layer Management), ADC Krone's solution for intelligent management, patching and extension of the network infrastructure Other show highlights from ADC Krone will include new network automation solutions for carrier networks.
Visitors to the ADC Krone booth will receive first-hand information on the latest generation of automated cross connects for the automation of cabinets: the new OmniReach ACX Automated Cross-Connect System, combined with ADC Krone's innovative cabinet technology, helps carriers reduce operational costs by allowing them to efficiently automate and extend their existing network infrastructure.
The ACX System provides a flexible, scalable platform for remotely controlled moves, adds and changes required to meet a customer's request for new or additional services.
Remotely controlled provisioning reduces operational cost by limiting the need for the dispatch of technicians to remote locations, and reduces time to market for new services.
Applications supported by the ACX include provisioning of service change requirements, xDSL deployment, switching between redundant equipment and collocation.
In addition, ADC Krone will be showing its complete portfolio of network infrastructure solutions and services, including DSL and carrier Ethernet products solutions for fibre-to-the-home (FTTH), wireless infrastructures and enterprise networks at IT and T 2007.
