First Asian company on PXISA board of directors

The PXI Systems Alliance (PXISA), a global non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting PXI technology world-wide, has promoted ADLINK Technology to Sponsor Member of PXISA.

The board of directors of the PXI Systems Alliance (PXISA), a global non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting PXI technology world-wide, announced the promotion of adlink Technology to Sponsor Member of PXISA, effective January 1st, 2005.

According to PXISA membership regulations, adlink will have a seat on the board of directors, be involved in all decisions regarding PXI architecture, and have voting rights.

adlink is the first Asian company to be accepted as a Sponsor Member of PXISA.

The six other Sponsor Members include ascor, Geotest, NI, Pickering, PXIT, and Teradyne.

adlink, as a leading provider of PXI modules and platforms and Executive Member of PXISA, recently hosted the 2004 PXI Technical Forum in Beijing (dated Oct.

28, 2004).

Jeff Munch, adlinks CTO, and his team of technical experts have made significant contributions to Rev.

2.2 of the new PXI Hardware Specification.

PXISA and adlink are closely working together to promote the PXI Architecture in China and in spreading the world about PXI.

At the Beijing forum, adlink demonstrated competitive, state-of-art PXI modules and platforms.

James Gau, Director of the adlinks Test and Measurement Product Segment, and Didier Lavanchy, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Acqiris, delivered keynote speeches.

Intel, Pickering and StarGen participated in panel discussions in the afternoon sessions.
