Analogue boards mount PCI and PXI
The DAQ-2500 and PXI-2500 series are four- or eight-channel 12bit high-performance analogue output cards for the PCI and PXI buses.
High-bandwidth PGA boosts acquisition performance
The latest data-acquisition card from Adlink features a novel programmable gain amplifier to overcome the traditional problems of acquiring signals faster than 500kHz.
The PXI-3800 is the first PXI system controller in the market that complies with PXI specification Rev.2.2 and features many new technologies such as up to 1.8GHz Pentium M CPU support, hot swappable CompactFlash card, USB 2.0 ports, and Gigabit Ethernet.
In addition to its rugged, industrial package, the PXI-3800's extraordinary reliability, high computing performance, and low power consumption make it ideal for test and measurement applications and harsh environments.
The PXI-3800 supports a wide range of CPUs, including low voltage Pentium M 1.1/1.6GHz with 1Mbyte L2 cache and Pentium M 745 (1.8GHz) with 2Mbyte cache.
A specially designed heatsink efficiently removes heat in fanless systems or high-temperature applications.
A variety of I/O interfaces such as two USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports, one parallel port, and one stereo audio output on the front panel are suitable for industrial automation applications.
The PXI-3800 features multiple storage device options.
In addition to the onboard 2.5in hard disk, the PXI-3800 also provides an internal CF Type-II socket which is connected to the IDE.
For diskless applications, a CompactFlash disk is used to replace traditional hard drives.
Another hot-swappable type-II CF socket on the front panel supports plug-and-play and replaces the FDD with much larger capacity.
The PXI-3800 system controller provides one PXI trigger I/O on the front panel for advanced PXI trigger functions.
For example, when the watchdog timer times out, the PXI-3800 can issue a trigger signal to the PXI trigger I/O on the front panel.
The PXI trigger I/O can transmit the trigger signals to alert the external devices of the situation so they can then take proper action.
The high-performance PCI-X bus is used to communicate between the onboard Intel 82545EM Gigabit Ethernet and 6300ESB ICH, allowing for true GbE bandwidth performance.
The 6300ESB also integrates a 32bit/33MHz CompactPCI bus, four USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports, IDE interface, and a two-stage watchdog timer. Request a free brochure from Adlink Technology ...
