The PXIStarterII is a new starter kit designed to add PXI platform capabilities to data acquisition and automated measurement systems.

Adlink's PXIStarterII includes the PXI-3800, Adlink Technology's latest Intel Pentium M PXI controller, and a PXIS-2506 3U six-slot chassis.

With the PXIStarterII, engineers can easily and quickly build automated test systems with any PXI or CompactPCI data acquisition or instrument modules.

This special product bundle is currently offered for only US $2950 and will be available until 28th February 2005 (some restrictions may apply).

The PXI-3800 is Adlink's first Intel Pentium M-based solution and is designed to meet the highest performance requirements for embedded computing.

It incorporates the Intel 855GME and 6300ESB chipset for both long life and excellent driver support.

The PXI-3800 complies with PXI specification Rev 2.2 and features many new technologies, including up to 1.8GHz Intel Pentium M CPU support, hot swappable CompactFlash card support, USB 2.0 ports, and Gigabit Ethernet.

The PXIS-2506 is a 3U six-slot portable PXI chassis providing one system slot and five PXI peripheral slots, supporting both PXI and CompactPCI modules.

The standard PXIS-2506 configuration is equipped with an industrial grade 250W CompactPCI power supply to provide reliable power to the system.
