CompactPCI platforms feature at CeBIT

Acquisition cards perform many functions
Adlink's latest data acquisition cards provide a 10% increase in performance over the company's previous generation of multifunction DAQ cards.
An example is the 5U ATCA Shelf featuring five ATCA front boards (three node plus two fabric), five rear transition modules, and dual front pluggable shelf management controllers.
Its compact size enables eight shelves per telecomms frame.
Complementing this ATCA solution platform is the Adlink ATCA-6890 high performance processor blade, available in a dual processor configuration and implementing Intel Xeon or Low Voltage Intel Xeon processors with 800MHz system bus, running at 3.4 and 2.8GHz, respectively.
Both these processors include Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology.
The ATCA-6890 also features the Intel E7520 chipset, supports up to 16Gbyte DDR2-400 memory and is targeted for mission critical telecom and networking communication applications that require high functionality, reliability, serviceability, and manageability.
Adlink ATCA product offerings include chassis, switches, management modules and single board computers.
Other platforms that Adlink will present at CeBIT are the cPCIS-3320, a 9U height dual-system CompactPCI chassis with redundant power supplies; the cPCIS-6418U, a 4U rack-mount high density system; and the BX-400, a 4U IPC with P4 3.2GHz CPU, 80Gbyte HDD, 512Mbyte DDR RAM, ATI M10 AGP8X VGA with 64Mbyte RAM, and 460W PSU.
