As an embedded controller it is compact in size and allows front side access.
It is highly reliable and incorporates an expandable architecture with optional motion, I/O and communications modules in PMC or PC104 form factors.
Also new at the show will be a dedicated starter kit for the ETXexpress-IA533 computer-on-module.
The kit consists of the ETXexpress-IA533 core module with an ATX-format prototype carrier board that offers a PCI Express x16 graphics slot, four PCI Express x1 slots, PCI slots, Serial ATA, SDVO, CRT, LVDS, TV-out, USB 2.0, gigabit LAN and Super I/O.
