IEEE488 controller card keeps a low
profile
The LPCI-3488 is a compact PCIbus GPIB interface controller that conforms to the low-profile MD1 form factor.
Following on the success of its PCIbus IEEE488 controller card (PCI-3488), Adlink Technology has now developed a low-profile PCIbus GPIB interface controller, the LPCI-3488 The new LPCI-3488 is more compact in size in order to conform to the low-profile MD1 form factor

Acquisition cards perform many functions
Adlink's latest data acquisition cards provide a 10% increase in performance over the company's previous generation of multifunction DAQ cards.
It is equipped with both standard PCI and low-profile PCI brackets so it fits into both standard and slim-type chassis.
The LPCI-3488 is IEEE488.1 and IEEE488.2 compliant and supports popular application development environments such as VB, VC, Delphi, LabView and TestExec.
It also features easy "drop-in" compatibility for existing test and measurement applications.
The LPCI-3488 is a 32bit/33MHz PCIbus GPIB interface controller in the low-profile PCI MD1 form factor.
Its PCI interface supports both 3.3 and 5V PCI buses which makes it suitable for most common desktop and industrial computers.
Additionally, its 1Kbyte onboard FIFO and CPLD high-speed bus control state machine gives it a maximum transfer rate of 1.5Mbyte/s, which more than satisfies large volume data transfer requirements between instruments and computers.
The LPCI-3488 supports Windows 98/NT/2000/XP/2003.
Its driver library is compatible with NI-488.2 command sets, and so programs written with NI-488.2 commands can be executed on the LPCI-3488.
The LPCI-3488 also supports the VISA library to work with existing instrument drivers. Request a free brochure from Adlink Technology ...
