Adlink releases the most compact 3U PXI chassis PXIS-2670 to support applications needing multiple PXI/CompactPCI modules

Adlink Technology has released the PXIS-2670 - a compact 3U chassis with 14 PXI/Compact PCI slots pitched for PXI-based applications requiring multiple PXI/cPCI modules in an instrument chassis.

With the streamlined PXIS-2670 chassis, users can create an advanced test and measurement apparatus using the advanced Adlink PXI controller with an Intel Pentium M CPU and selecting from more than 30 Adlink PXI data acquisition modules with wide-ranging sampling rate and resolution or from hundreds of PXI modules in the market.

The PXIS-2670 features a space-saving frame that is 40 percent smaller than most 14-slot PXI chassis in the market while efficiently accommodating one PXI system module and 13 PXI/CompactPCI cards.

Due to the compact design, this chassis is suitable for both rack-mounted and bench-top applications.

Debuting with another Adlink innovation in chassis design, the PXIS-2670 comes with an enclosed separate power partition ready to accommodate a 500 W AC power supply unit.

The latest chassis architecture efficiently controls the power supply unit's heat and radiation emissions to deliver thermal stability and to reduce electromagnetic interference.

The PXIS-2670 is Adlink's answer to the growing deployment of PXI technology in test and measurement processes.

As demand for large-capacity PXI chassis continues to increase, the PXIS-2670 expansive features offer a fully-scalable chassis that meets all PXI system requirements.
