The ETX-GLX further incorporates an Intel based 10/100Base-T Ethernet port, an PATA EIDE controller supporting both PIO and UDMA modes, a dual port SATA controller, four USB v2.0 ports, two serial ports, one parallel port (SPP/ECP/EPP) shared with FDD, one PS2 keyboard/mouse interface, an AC97 audio interface, and power management functionality.
The ETX-GLX has full support for PCI and legacy ISA, and comes with embedded features such as a watchdog controller, RS232 console redirection and CMOS EEPROM backup of BIOS settings and batteryless operation.
The ETX-GLX is a revision controlled product aimed at applications that require a guaranteed long production life and support.
The ETX-GLX comes with BSP support for Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, Linux, and Vxworks.
Samples of the ETX-GLX are available now; full production shipping quantities start later this month.
A dedicated Embedded Linux development kit will be available for ETX-GLX in this quarter.
