Budget circuit simulator has expensive features
SpiceCreator Standard is a novel circuit simulation software package that is ideal for hobbyists and small companies.
SpiceCreator Standard is a novel circuit simulation software package that is ideal for hobbyists and small companies.
SpiceCreator is a 32bit analogue, digital, mixed-signal circuit design and simulation program, supporting the same or more advanced features than other simulators at a fraction of the cost.
A completely integrated modern user interface circuit design environment, SpiceCreator allows users to quickly and easily capture schematic designs, perform simulation, and analyse the results using the powerful signal processor and waveform viewer.
Users can customise almost everything in the design environment, and easily search for, find, select and categorise, from thousands of components.
The popular control panel allows users to quickly enter component parameters with a single click, and to design waveforms using the graphical signal generator waveform editor, before spending time doing a simulation.
The package is compatible with Windows XP/NT/2000/Me/9x computers.
The product is available from stock, directly from Advanced Microcomputer Systems at a suggested retail price of $99.
According to Terry Harte, AMS Chief Engineer: "Our powerful industry standard Spice3F5 plus XSpice mixed simulation engine offers the same or more advanced features at a fraction of the price of other simulators, including MonteCarlo, worst case analysis, pole, zero, transfer function, distortion, Fourier etc".
The software has important features/capabilities that are critical for designers.
These include: more than 5000 analogue and digital models; 21 different analysis types; virtual instruments, including a 64-channel scope, meters, power meter etc; and BSIM3V3, BSIM4, SOI support.
The model editor allows users to create new models and macro models or edit existing ones.
A model import wizard allows users to import any Spice3F5 XSpice model from any manufacturer, including free models downloaded from manufacturers' websites.
