Module assures critical DC supplies
Preconditioning power module protects against low-voltage and transient input conditions, supplying a reliable input of up to 120W for DC/DC convertors.
The reductions result primarily from using single chip IC solutions, thinner glass and low resistivity material for the bus line.
The reduction in bus line thickness enables an increase in the pixel aperture allowing more light to pass through the display resulting in the higher brightness displays.
The PVI range in current production extends to 40 parts from 2.5 to 10.4in.
Recent additions include: a 3.5in QGA with LED backlights; a 3.5in VGA with touchscreen option; a 5in VGA high brightness (400cd/m2) in portrait mode; and a 7in WVGA (800 x 480) high brightness (400cd/m2).
As a further service PVI is also able to offer custom made TFTs in comparatively small quantities.
