Integrated devices shrink ZigBee applications
The MG245x product family claims world-class performance, with the highest Tx power, highest Rx sensitivity, high datarates and low power consumption compared with existing ZigBee chip offerings.
According to Michael J Bosmann, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for VPT: "These new products provide additional off-the-shelf options for designers of aircraft, vehicles, and weapons systems seeking affordable, yet extremely reliable, DC/DC power modules".
"With the addition of these modules, our VPT Series product line now offers the full range of power options from 5 to 100W in standard output power configurations".
The new products include the VPT15-2800D dual-output, VPT30-2800S single-output and VPT30-2800D dual-output modules.
These products feature: Single-output configurations of 3.3, 5, 12 or 15V; dual-output configurations of +/-5, +/-12 and +/-15V; provision for the wide MIL-STD-704A-E input range, which is much wider than commercial products; ultra-high-reliability performance through a patented magnetic feedback circuit with no optoisolators; and very low output noise.
The modules operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to +100C with no power derating, and come in six-sided metal cases for improved EMI, mechanical and environmental performance.
100% environmental screening includes 96 hour burn-in, 100% electrical testing, shock and vibration testing.
These new units are available immediately through Advanced Power Components, the sole UK and Ireland distributor.
