Ultra CEMS selected ART to train and certify a group of senior staff to Certified Trainer level.
This qualification allows them to run courses at Ultra CEMS Weymouth premises that formally train and certify both production and quality team members.
"Ultra CEMS were already aware of the importance of working to a recognised international standard and have trained their workforce to several IPC standards", said Barry Morris, Director of ART.
"It was a natural progression to obtain the J-STD-001D certification to support their migration to lead-free manufacturing".
"It is imperative we invest in making our staff aware of the latest IPC standards", said John Dean, of Ultra CEMS.
"ART's high-quality courses and their involvement in setting IPC standards, with a seat on the task group as well as sitting on the IPC training committees, made them the obvious choice as our training provider".
The training courses were carried out in the fully equipped IPC training facility at Ultra CEMS which provides a total solution for all staff training requirements.
