Punch down and earth strap for connector
The RJ-LnxxT IP67 rated, sealed, industrial RJ-45 connectors, available in the UK from Aerco, are now available with IDC punch down and earth strap terminations.
These new connectors are fully interchangeable and intermateable with standard MIL-C-5015 connector ranges that are effectively the industry standard for this type of application.
This means that installations can be upgraded using ABLS components with no redundancy of existing equipment.
Developed to meet the most demanding safety standards and based on high performance military specifications, the ABLS range is extremely robust, reliable and provides assured mating and handling characteristics.
With a black zinc-cobalt standard finish, full mating is signified by an audible snap and the alignment of three coloured spots.
A tough aluminium alloy body is used with low fire hazard, rubber insulators and full environmental protection to IP67 is provided when using the sealed backshell accessory.
Many options are provided including cable-mounted plug, cable-mounted receptacle, panel-mounted receptacle and panel-mounted plug.
A wide range of accessories including protective caps and gaskets and cable accessories are also available.
