Punch down and earth strap for connector
The RJ-LnxxT IP67 rated, sealed, industrial RJ-45 connectors, available in the UK from Aerco, are now available with IDC punch down and earth strap terminations.
The EVN2000 incorporates a snap action, double insulated, silver contact switch with a 4mm air gap and the positive opening operation of the normally closed contacts conforms to IEC/EN 60947-5-1 annex K.
Operating temperature is from -25 to +85C, and the thermal current rating is 10A.
Opening of the normally closed circuit in the event of circuits welding is guaranteed.
With the highly compact enclosure rated to IP66/67 and a mechanical life of up to 10 million operations, the EVN2000 fully meets the switch requirements for the construction and installation of lifts.
They will therefore be ideal for applications where moisture is a hazard and space is at a premium such as material handling equipment, elevators and moving stairs, scissor and platform lifts, food and beverage production equipment and the manufacturing industry.
