Punch down and earth strap for connector
The RJ-LnxxT IP67 rated, sealed, industrial RJ-45 connectors, available in the UK from Aerco, are now available with IDC punch down and earth strap terminations.
The Telegartner RP plugs supplied by Aerco have a female centre contact fitted and the jack version has a male centre pin.
Some products available use reverse threads on the mating face to achieve the RP system rather than changing the contact in the connector.
RP connectors are commonly used in applications such as wireless LANs and antennas, where keying is necessary to eliminate mismating with a standard connector.
Various combinations of straight, angle and bulkhead fixings are available and crimp-crimp termination allows for easy and quick assembly.
Customised cable assemblies are also available on request.
Telegartner's range of connectors fit a variety of cables and configurations allowing the end user to choose the optimum connector for the application.
