A new range of composite circular connector accessories from Glenair are qualified to the shock, vibration, thread strength and bend moment requirements of MIL-C-38999 and MIL-C-85049.

Now available from Aerco is a range of composite circular connector accessories from Glenair that are qualified to the shock, vibration, thread strength and bend moment requirements of MIL-C-38999 and MIL-C-85049 Made from Ultem 2300, these composite accessories have far greater corrosion resistance compared to metal materials thus eliminating the need for expensive repairs and replacements caused by the erosion

In addition, composite accessories are 40% lighter than aluminium products and approximately 80% lighter than stainless steel while maintaining superior strength.

The backshells are provided with self-locking coupling nuts and, as they are less prone to harmonic resonance, they are far less likely to vibrate loose when subjected to prolonged periods of vibration and shock than metal versions.

Glenair backshells can be supplied with an electrically conductive metal finish in either cadmium or electroless nickel to meet requirements of RFI/EMI shielding.

Styles include straight and 90 degree clamps and band-it adaptors.

All Glenair backshells are available from Aerco with no minimum order quantity.
