Aerco is to stock connectors that meet European Specification CECC75201-002 Manufactured by AB Connectors, they feature tough, corrosion-resistant shells made from marine nickel aluminium bronze

This makes them ideal for saline environments and other harsh conditions.

Versions are available that can be immersed in water to a depth of four metres.

These new connectors are derived from MIL-C-38999 series 3, with which they are inter-mateable and inter-mountable and are designed to complement the proven and popular Pattern 608 range for all European navy applications.

Stocks are expected to be in place before the end of October 2005.

Available in high-density contact arrangements up to 128 way and 100% scoop proof, they have a triple-start coarse thread coupling with 100% metal-to-metal bottoming for maximum EMI shielding protection.

All connectors in this range provide excellent salt-water corrosion resistance and are self-locking with an anti-vibration coupling nut.

Aerco provides a total design solution by stocking a wide selection of AB manufactured DEF-STAN approved back-shells for termination of heavy-duty or shielded cables.
