Single-pole high-current engine connector overcomes long-standing problem of thermal damage to the insulator.

Now available from Aerco is a new single-pole high-current engine connector from AB Connectors that has been designed to overcome the long-standing problem of thermal damage to the insulator that is experienced on many contemporary products of this type The use of advanced material technology in the ABSP range has solved this problem of insulator breakdown while improving thermal performance

The ABSP range is used in high temperature, high current applications such as engines or auxiliary power units on military vehicles and delivers a continuous current up to 600A at a temperature rating of 180C.

The connectors are voltage proof to 3kV and have insulation resistance of 5000Mohm.
