These backshells create the option of a complete interconnect solution from a single source with parts available either from stock or on short lead time.

The D38999 connectors, which are qualified to CECC75201-002, are ideal for use in demanding environments and are particularly suited to areas prone to the corrosive effects of salt spray.

The nature of their use normally dictates the need for a high performance backshell to maintain the integrity of the electrical connection.

Aerco backshells range from standard strain relief clamps offering cable support, through to heatshrink adapters, angled adapters and high performance EMI/RFI shielded adapters.

The latter includes the popular TAK heatshrink kit that allows single-piece installation of a shielded adapter and integral heatshrink boot.
