Low-cost push-pull connectors are ideal for applications such as test and measurement equipment, laboratory and analytical equipment and commercial and industrial applications.

The Binder 430, available on short lead times from Aerco, is billed as an ideal alternative to more expensive push-pull connectors It is ideal for use in a wide range of applications such as test and measurement equipment, laboratory and analytical equipment and commercial and industrial applications that require connectors with a high specification that are economically priced

Available with three, four, five, seven and eight contacts, the Binder 430 series can accommodate cables from 3.5 to 5mm diameter.

Rated to IP67, both front- and rear-mounted panel versions are available providing high levels of flexibility to users and the metal shell offers excellent EMC performance.

An important feature of the Binder 430 series is that the contact pins are recessed into the shell and are therefore touchproof.

The series mates by simply pushing the free half into the fixed unit and locking with an audible click.

To disengage, the collet on the free half is slid backwards and the connectors are then pulled apart.

This feature ensures that the connectors cannot be accidentally unmated should any pressure be applied to the cable.
