An Atek Companies product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Oct 28, 2005

Atek has added further resources and capabilities to its New Product Group, which is dedicated to helping customers to bring products to market quickly.

The Atek Companies' New Product Group is driving Atek's growth.

Because of this, Atek recently added resources and capabilities to its New Product Group, which is dedicated to bringing products to market quickly with skills in project management, design, design for manufacturability, packaging design, regulatory guidance, electromechanical assembly and testing, and documentation.

"The New Products Group has a depth of resources", said Christy Bieber Orris, CEO, The Atek Companies.

"Based on our extensive experience launching more than 30 new products a year, our customers are requesting that we take a more proactive role in the development of their new products".

"These requests dovetail perfectly with our corporate strategy and allow us to put our core value of Customer Intimacy into action".

"We have begun staffing to support growth rates that mirror our customers' needs, adding engineering, quality, and supply chain personnel - people who are driven to make our customers successful".

According to Scott Green, Project Engineer of Stryker Corporation, "Stryker had a challenging project that required integrating key development and design".

"The lead time and associated project schedule was in a constant state of flux".

"The Atek team was uncompromising in their attention to service and quality, and provided development support that might not normally fall under our umbrella of 'contract manufacturer'".

"Overall, the level of support delivered by Atek showed that they can be a key resource for Stryker in the future".
