Antenova has just appointed Brian Collins as an Antenna Design Consultant Collins brings with him over 40 years experience in antenna design

He has been employed to accelerate the design of products using Antenova's HDA high dielectric antenna technology.

Collins has already made significant progress on an embedded antenna solution for a laptop, which will be exhibited at the Intel Developers Forum in San Jose, between 16th and18th September 2003.

Collins also remains Technical Director at CSA, and is founder and Chairman of the Antenna Interface Standards Group (AISG).

The AISG now represents most major world companies making base-station antennas and tower-mounted amplifiers.

He has written more than 40 papers for the technical press and has contributed to the last two editions of McGraw-Hill's "Antenna engineering handbook".

Collins has also been a member of a number of committees of the UK Government's Radiocommunications Agency.

"I have followed Antenova's technology progress for some time and was delighted when I was asked to join the company.

I couldn't wait to get back into the lab and provide some hands-on antenna design expertise", says Collins.

"Brian is extremely well known in the antenna industry and his network of contacts are invaluable.

He joins a top-notch technical team that will benefit greatly from his experience.

In the short time he has been with us, he has already accelerated some of our antenna designs", says CEO, Greg McCray.
