Antenna innovator Antenova has appointed Dr Su Zhang as Chief Technology Officer.

Antenna innovator Antenova has appointed Dr Su Zhang as Chief Technology Officer Zhang's experience in building and managing world-class teams and transforming research and development ideas into mass-produced products will be invaluable as Antenova moves forward to the next stage of volume production

Zhang's distinguished background spanning over 20 years in the antenna industry makes her uniquely qualified for this challenge.

Zhang's experience most recently includes being Head of Nokia's New Antenna Concept team, which included global responsibility for assessing antenna suppliers, and prior to that she was Head of Nokia UK Antenna Group.

Zhang also worked at CSA Antenna Systems as a Principal Engineer and Team Leader and was appointed Director of R and D for CSA North American Operations prior to joining Nokia.

Antenova's technology liberates wireless developers from the problems and restrictions associated with conventional antennas.

Antenova's unique High Dielectric Antenna (HDA) technology offers new design freedoms for wireless terminal designers.

Among its capabilities are extremely small size with virtual immunity to detuning - allowing multiple antennas to be integrated onto PCBs with good isolation, lower power requirements and much higher efficiencies.

"I have been watching Antenova's progress for sometime now and am delighted to now join the team.

I have exposure to all the various antenna technologies and am convinced of the benefits and practicality of Antenova's High Dielectric Antennas.

I really look forward to making a difference", says Zhang.

"We are very happy that Su has joined Antenova, her experience and expertise in managing the product development process will be crucial as we continue to expand and win new orders.

We are impressed that someone of her position, from a major OEM, has elected to be a part of helping to lead Antenova to its next level of success", says Greg McCray, CEO.

Her academic achievements include a PhD from the Department of Engineering Science, Oxford University and a First Class Honours in electronic engineering.
