The Datanova seven-band mobile broadband antenna is in mass production in a lightweight 13.3in LCD notebook computer by a Korean consumer electronics company.
In addition to 3G cellular mobile broadband capability, the Datanova provides dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.
It can cover all CDMA/GSM, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wimax, UWB and GPS bands in a single structure.
It eliminates the need for exposed or unsightly external antennas.
Soon to be available are ultra-thin lower-profile versions of the Datanova antenna for slimmer notebook computers and UMPCs.
