Wilska joins the board

He served as president of Vertu, a Nokia subsidiary that is a provider of luxury mobile phones, and in executive roles with Nokia Mobile Phones, Nokia Cellular Systems and Nokia Telecommunications.
He retired from Nokia earlier this year as President of Nokia in the USA.

Wilska was the recipient of the Order of the Lion of Finland in 1993 and the Electronics Engineering Association of Finland's Annual Award in 1995, the CTIA's President Award in 1999, the Wireless Foundation's Industry Achievement Award in 2002 and the Engineering Association of Finland recognised him as the Engineer of the Year in 2003.
Wilska holds a bachelor's degree in radiotechnology from the Technical College of Helsinki.
He currently serves on the board of directors of Brightpoint.
Other members of the Agere board include Clemmer; Richard Hill, Chairman and CEO of Novellus Systems; Arun Netravali, Managing Partner of OmniCapital Group; Thomas P Salice, Managing Member of SFW Capital Partners; and Rae F Sedel, Managing Director of Russell Reynolds Associates.
HA Wagner, former President and CEO of Air Products and Chemicals, is Chairman of the board.
