Hot-pluggable transceiver for Fibre Channel
Agilent Technologies has announced volume availability of its 2Gbit/s small-form-pluggable (SFP) fibre-optic transceiver for Fibre Channel storage area networks (SANs).
ONIDS will be held at three locations: Milan, Italy on 4th June; Munich, Germany on 6th June; and London, UK on 11th June.
The theme of ONIDS is "The path to 10Gbit/s".
The seminar will include the following eight presentations: "The new economy of light: taking a bite out of the price per bit in communication networks"; "Thermal characterisation of small form factor transceivers for a multiport application"; "Controlling radiated emissions on fibre-optic transceivers for high-density switches"; "IBIS modelling and simulation of high-speed fibre-optic transceivers"; "Agilent Technologies HFCT-701XB 10GbE pluggable transceivers: a physical description and applications considerations"; "10Gbit/s jitter verification - understanding and executing Ethernet and Sonet methodologies"; "Ethernet over Sonet using virtual concatenation"; and "Physical layer solution for very short reach applications utilising parallel optics".
In addition, delegates will learn about imminent industry breakthroughs in networking ICs, fibre optics and communications test equipment, and how they will impact the design of next-generation networking systems.
The full technical programme includes a catered lunch and complete symposium documentation. Request a free brochure from Avago Technologies ...
