Agilent takes away Chinese award

Agilent Technologies has received an "Excellent supplier" award from Huawei Technologies, China's leading networking company.

Agilent Technologies has received an "Excellent supplier" award from Huawei Technologies, China's leading networking company.

Agilent is Huawei's largest supplier of fibre-optic transceivers and also supplies Fibre Channel controller and PHY ICs, RF and microwave devices, LEDs, infra-red transceivers and optocoupler products.

Huawei selects its "Excellent supplier" recipients based on a company's technological expertise, product quality, responsiveness, delivery and cost.

"To achieve a competitive advantage, we must have best-in-class partners throughout our entire supply chain", said Hua Liang, Senior Vice President of Huawei.

"Agilent's Semiconductor Products Group has consistently proven it can help us win in our markets".
