Avago Technologies has a new line of discrete RoHS-compliant infra-red emitters suitable for a wide range of industrial and consumer applications, such as home appliances, notebook, gaming devices, parking meters and smoke detectors The ASDL-4360, 4560 and 4561 are high-performance 850-885nm emitters in surface-mount packages
The ASDL-4860 is a high power 850nm IR emitter in a top-emitting surface-mount ultra-low-profile package.
It is packed with high performance features ranging from brightness, speed and excellent heat dissipation with its capability to drive at 500mA.
Additionally, Avago has added the ASDL-4263 and 4264, which are 940nm emitters in through-hole packages.
