Active-current oscilloscope probes
Agilent's new family of wide-bandwidth, active current probes for oscilloscopes are based on hybrid technology.
Agilent Technologies has introduced a new family of wide-bandwidth, active-current probes for oscilloscopes Low noise, high accuracy and low circuit insertion loss make the Agilent N2780A series current probes suitable for accurately capturing transient or steady-state currents in today's power electronics applications
Using a hybrid technology that includes a Hall effect sensor and an AC current transformer, the Agilent N2780A series current probes provide accurate measurement of DC or AC currents up to 500 A RMS continuous (model N2780A) or DC to 100MHz (model N2783A), without breaking into the circuit.
In conjunction with the optional Agilent N2779A power supply, Agilent N2780A Series current probes can be used with any oscilloscope that has a high-impedance BNC input.
The Agilent N2780A Series current probes are available now, with prices starting at US $2,295.
